A few weeks ago my friends and I went to a cute little cat café around Ottawa- yes I said cat café, in the Ottawa area (Chelsea to be exact). My friend Amanda had told me all about it when she discovered it, she could not get over it! It's called the Siberian Cat Cafe if you want to check it out.

It's a cute little spot, in a yellow house, there is an isolated café area so the kitties don't escape the household. I didn't love the concept of taking off your shoes (I get why) but they didn't have enough slippers so we had to walk around in our socks. I wish I would have known how busy it could get over the weekend I would have brought my own slippers - regardless it wasn't the end of the world. The only other downfall regarding the whole shoe and slipper thing, the surrounding area of the shoe removal is soaking wet due to the snow (not the best!).
They have an area to order some coffees and snacks, I wasn't too impressed by the selection nor the prices - I found them to be a little too expensive for what it was... not to mention the wait for our lattes and the one sandwich that was ordered took a lifetime. I think I had much higher expectation for a cat café than what they offered unfortunately.
